Understand the Business
I learn the company, customers, market, growth objectives, sales process, current marketing performance, capabilities, technology, and existing resources.
How I Work
Executive marketing leadership that becomes part of your operating rhythm.
As your Embedded Fractional CMO, I work directly with ownership and leadership, lead the marketing team, manage agency partners, connect marketing with sales, and create accountability for the decisions and performance that shape growth.
Let's Talk About Your Marketing
THE EMBEDDED MODEL
Fractional does not mean disconnected. I am not brought in to deliver a strategy presentation and disappear while your team figures out what to do with it.
I work inside the business as the executive responsible for marketing leadership. That means working directly with ownership and leadership, understanding the company's growth objectives, establishing priorities, leading the people responsible for execution, and creating visibility into performance.
Your existing marketing resources remain valuable. The difference is that someone is now accountable for making sure those resources are working together toward the same business objectives.
WHERE I SIT
I work with the people setting the direction of the company, then lead the marketing resources responsible for supporting that direction.
HOW WE OPERATE
The work is continuous. We establish direction, lead execution, measure what happens, make decisions, and keep improving.
I learn the company, customers, market, growth objectives, sales process, current marketing performance, capabilities, technology, and existing resources.
We determine what marketing needs to accomplish, which opportunities matter most, what should receive investment, and what should stop consuming resources.
I lead the internal team, manage agency partners and specialists, establish expectations, remove roadblocks, and keep execution connected to strategy.
Marketing cannot operate independently from revenue. I help align targeting, messaging, demand generation, business development, CRM, pipeline, and customer experience.
We create visibility into marketing activity, leads, opportunities, pipeline, customer behavior, investment, and the business outcomes leadership needs to understand.
Performance creates the next decision. We continue adjusting priorities, investment, resources, messaging, channels, and execution based on what the business is learning.
WHO I LEAD
Most growing companies already have valuable marketing resources. My job is to determine what is working, what is missing, and how those resources should work together.
Direction, priorities, coaching, expectations, decision support, and accountability.
Clear scopes, stronger briefs, performance expectations, coordination, and accountability.
SEO, paid media, content, web, creative, CRM, analytics, and other capabilities when required.
Shared audiences, messaging, lead management, pipeline visibility, and revenue priorities.
THE OPERATING RHYTHM
I stay connected to the business so marketing decisions happen when they need to happen, not weeks later in a presentation.
Regular conversations with ownership and leadership around business priorities, growth objectives, emerging opportunities, challenges, and decisions affecting marketing.
Ongoing direction for internal marketing resources, agencies, specialists, priorities, projects, dependencies, and execution.
Consistent visibility into performance so leadership understands what is happening, why it matters, and what needs to change next.
WHAT CHANGES
When marketing has clear executive ownership, the entire function begins operating differently.
The team understands what matters now and what can wait.
People know what they own and what successful performance looks like.
Partners execute against business priorities instead of isolated scopes.
Marketing and sales operate around shared audiences, opportunities, and growth objectives.
Leadership can see what marketing is doing and understand why.
Resources and investment can move toward what is creating the strongest business impact.
THE NEXT STEP
You do not need to prepare a presentation or have all the answers. We can start by talking about your business, how marketing is currently structured, who is leading it, where you are investing, and what you need marketing to accomplish.
